The Sleep Shop was founded in 1969 and was acquired by David Hudson in 1980 (still our owner and chief executive to this day). Through the years, The Sleep Shop has had one goal... to provide the best mattresses and sleep systems that you can get at the best prices. At the same time, our goal has always been to provide you with the best expertise and experience when purchasing a new mattress or set.

Family Owned and Operated

Along the way, The Sleep Shop has been a family operation with David's wife, Prudy, being active in the business over the years. Also, their son, Justin, has worked in the business as he has grown up, and is now an active member helping to manage and run the company.
